I have been a woodworker
for over 37 years. Self-taught furniture maker who strives for
perfection. Most of pieces are oiled finished, otherwise we use
a lacquer finish when needed. We use Tenon
and Morise on our products and Dovetail on our drawers.
We strive to make our pieces look like
they are from days gone by.
Eastlake: Named
after Charles Locke Eastlake, furniture designer who advocates a return to
simple joined construction.
Mission Style: Common name used for arts and craft oak made furniture
inspired by Gustin Stickley from the early 1900.
Colonial: Furniture style simple and practical built by new comers who
settled in southern united states, where colonies from the old world strive.
Such as plantation.
Quebec Primitive: Furniture built by farmers, farmer sons or others to
make rural and country living more bearable. These pieces capture a blend of
charm and simplicity that only a country craftsman could create.
